NurtureCare is commissioned to support both children and young adults with complex health and additional health needs within the home environment, we have exciting opportunities for reliable, passionate and dedicated children and young adults health care assistants across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.

We are looking for staff who have:

  • The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Level 2/Level 3 Qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent.

We have shifts available in the following postcode Areas:

NG15, NG11 & NG21

Caring for a Young Adult

Clinical care that you will provide – full training will be given:

  • Chest management
  • Moving and handling including the use of a hoist and slide sheets
  • Aiding with morning and night time routines including personal care, dressing and washing
  • Administering medication
  • Assisting with eating and drinking

Things we appreciate, but not required:

  • Previous experience working in care
  • Medication administration
  • Personal care
  • Moving and handling
